Custom Heritage Designs LLC is a family-run, single-member LLC led by a father-and-son team—and proud members of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. We fuse modern design with cultural storytelling to create custom pieces that are built to last and made to mean something.
Who We Are
Our duo blends complementary strengths. With a strong background in graphic design, digital printing, and years in corporate America, the father brings brand sense, process rigor, and a passion for visual clarity. The son—an entrepreneur since age 16—grew up customizing products through engraving, printing, and design, and now adds jewelry repair and design to the studio. Together, we collaborate on every project, challenging each other to elevate quality, imagery, and cultural significance.
Our Roots
Our story begins generations ago. In 1832, our ancestors relocated to Oklahoma with the La Flore expedition. They later established a grist mill near Pauls Valley that helped feed and employ many in the Choctaw and Chicasaw territories, and our family went on to found Florence Chappel, Oklahoma. We honor that legacy by making work that respects history while serving our community today.
Stewardship & Learning
Heritage and land stewardship go hand in hand for us. As a certified Texas Master Naturalist, a Master Composter, and an avid gardener, the father brings a deep respect for the natural world to our practice. That mindset informs how we source materials, reduce waste, and design with longevity in mind. We’re committed to learning—about our culture, our craft, and our environment—so that every piece we make carries knowledge forward.
